Student events & scholarships at TEA's SATE '14 design conference Oct 2-3 in Sarasota

The NextGen initiative of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) is a resource for students and newcomers to the Experience Design industry.

TEA's SATE design conference, Oct 2-3 in Sarasota FL, offers opportunities for NextGen members to learn from and network with industry leaders and each other. Some scholarships are available (Sept 18 application deadline) and some discounted tickets for TEA NextGen members.

Some full scholarships and some discounted tickets for TEA NextGen members to attend SATE '14 are available. (Does not cover transportation & accommodation.) To inquire, send resume and one-page letter of intent to TEA NextGen committee chair Clara Rice,

  • Wed Oct 1: TEA NextGen Meet & Greet, Captain Curt's Oyster Bar
  • Sat Oct 4, 9-11 am: Breakfast with Champions, NextGen only session with SATE chairs
  • Sat Oct 4, 1 pm: Behind the scenes event & tour at Busch Gardens Tampa, followed by Howl-O-Scream

SATE '14 is a professional, international dialog on Experience Design, Oct 2&3, hosted by Florida State University at the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota.
